Maria (Cabral) Demedeiros

New Bedford – Maria (Cabral) deMedeiros, age 78 years, died Monday November 29, 2010 at the Royal Taber Street Nursing and Rehab Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Jose Rebelo.

Maria was the loved mother of several children.

Mrs. deMedeiros was the daughter of the late Maria (Sousa) and Ernesto Moura Cabral. Maria was born in Portugal and has lived in this area since 1963. She was a stitcher with various clothing manufacturers until her retirement.

Mrs. deMedeiros’ funeral will be Wednesday at 9 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours have been omitted.
