Emiliana Rogers

New Bedford-Emiliana Rogers aged 83 years died at home Wednesday November 10, 2010. She was the loved mother of Rory George Rogers of New Bedford. Mrs. Rogers was the loving grandmother of Kerri Ann Rogers, Cory George Rogers and great-grandmother of Cody Edwin Rogers. She was the sister of Thelma Carvalho and her husband Manuel of Dartmouth, Elsie Pacheco of Dartmouth and the late Erminia Vicente and Albertina Bartholomew.

Mrs. Rogers was the daughter of the late Luiz and Ana (Fragoza) Pacheco. She was born in New Bedford and was a life long resident. Mrs. Rogers received her BA from SMU and was a teacher at the John B. Devalles School until her retirement. Mrs. Rogers was also a member of the Moose Golden Agers.

In accordance with her wishes she was cremated. A Memorial Service with ashes present will be November 19, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at Perry funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. with Reverend Robert Oliveira Celebrating. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.
