Deolinda Miranda

Boston, MA.-Deolinda Miranda age 63 years died Tuesday November 2nd at Tufts Medical Center. She was the former wife of the late Jorge Miranda. She was the loving mother of Sandy Baptista of Fairhaven, Jorge Miranda, and David Miranda of New Bedford, sister of Jose Pavao of Canada, Maria daLuz Cunha of New Bedford, Ana Pavao of Dartmouth, Benvinda DaSilva of Westport and Gloria Ferreira of Portugal, She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Miranda leaves behind a Deceased brother Manuel Pavao and sister Fatima Farias.

Mrs. Miranda was the daughter of the late Maria da Gloria (Arruda) and Manuel Pavao. She was born in St. Michael, Azores and has lived in this area for 41 years.

Mrs. Miranda’s Funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. on Saturday at 8:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Visiting hours will be Friday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Burial will take place at Rural Cemetery. Family and Friends are invited to join the Family at the conclusion of the cemetery at Jorge’s Home 24 Salisbury St. New Bedford, MA.
