Antonio Pacheco Botelho

New Bedford- Antonio Pacheco Botelho age 69 years, passed away on Tuesday November 2, 2010 at Beth Israel Hospital. Antonio was the loved father of Susana Casavant and her husband Craig of Rochester NH and Anna Cobb and her husband James of E. Freetown. Mr. Botelho was the grandfather of Joshua Carvalho, Justin Cobb and Chenice Branquinho, and great grandfather of Troy James Cobb. Antonio was the brother of Natalia Avelar of CA., Constantina Medeiros of Fall River MA., Joao Botelho of Westport, MA., Eduarda Pereira of Fall River, MA., Manuel Botelho of New Bedford, MA., and the late Jose Botelho. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Botelho was a son of the late Constantina (Sacramento) Homem and John Pacheco. He was born in Portugal and has lived in this area since 1968. He worked as a Machine Operator at Plymouth Rubber. He liked to watch soccer, the Red Sox, and Patriots, He also enjoyed his birds and animals, playing his accordian, and building small Nativity Scenery.

Mr. Botelho’s funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. Friday at 9:30 A.M.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St John the Baptist Church at 10:30 A.M. Visiting Hours will be Thursday From 5 to 8 P.M.. Burial will followed at Sacred Heart Cemetery #2
