Jorge Manuel Sousa Botelho

New Bedford – Jorge Manuel Sousa Botelho, age 50, died Sunday, November 1, 2010 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the son of the late Maria Armanda (Sousa) and Dorvalino Raposo Botelho. He is survived by his children Bruno Sousa, Dulce Almeida and Cesar Sousa all of Portugal, Ricardo Sousa, Tiago Sousa, and Andre Sousa all of New Bedford. Grandchildren Gonsalves Almeida, Paula lmeida, ad Andre Phillip Sousa. Brothers and Sisters Graca Maria Sousa Botelho, Carlos Alberto Sousa Botelho, Jose Luis Sousa Botelho, Dorvalino Sousa Botelho, and Leonardo Sousa Botelho. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.

Mr. Botelho was born in St. Michael, Azores and has lived all this area the past 5 years.

Mr. Botelho’s funeral will be on Thursday from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 8:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church at 9 A.M. Visiting hours will be Wednsday from 5 –8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will take place at Rural Cemetery.
