Irene (Pacheco) Gearhart

New Bedford – Irene (Pacheco) Gearhart, age 71, died Sunday, September 26, 2010, at Hallmark Nursing and Rehab. She was the mother of Claudia Ann Rose, wife of John Rose of Dartmouth and the late Ronald Parkinson. Mrs. Gearhart is also survived by a grandson Ronald Rose, a sister Nancy DaCosta of Dartmouth and a nephew.

Mrs. Gearhart was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of her life. She was a daughter of the late Gilbert M. and Claudia (Bouchard) Pacheco. Mrs. Gearhart worked as a custodian in the New Bedford school system.

Mrs. Gearheart’s funeral services will be held at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. on Tuesday at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation prior to services at 10:30 A.M.. Burial is at the Rural Cemetery in New Bedford.
