Juliet (Correia) Parent

New Bedford - Juliet (Correia) Parent, age 86, died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Hathaway Manor Nursing and Rehab after a period of declining health. Juliet was the wife of the late Ernest Parent of Dartmouth. She was the mother of Patricia Riding of Dartmouth and grandmother of Ryan Cyr of Winthrop MA. and Danielle Silva of North Dartmouth. Mrs. Parent was the great-grandmother of Nicholas and Cameron Silva. Juliet was the sister of Antone and Bernard Correia, Delores Kennedy, Evelyn Rezendes and the late Lionel Correia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Parent was a daughter of the late Hortense (Carvalho) and Antone F. Correia. She was born in New Bedford and lived in Dartmouth most of her life. Juliet was employed as manager of the shoe department at Mars Bargainland for about 20 years.

Mrs. Parent’s Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Julie Billiart Church, in N. Dartmouth, MA. on Friday at 11 A.M.. Everyone is invited to meet directly at Church. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass and at the request of the family to join them at Hawthorn Country Club on Tucker Road N. Dartmouth immediately following the Mass. Burial will be private at the request of the Family.
