Elsie (Gregory) De Motta

New Bedford - Elsie DeMotta, age 94, died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Southeastern Massachusetts Health & Rehab Center. Elsie was the wife of the late William DeMotta. She was the mother of Patricia Downs of Dartmouth and grandmother of Deborah Gaudette and Christopher DeMotta. Mrs. DeMotta was the mother of the late Geraldine Roderick and the sister of the late William Gregory.
She also leaves behind 5 great grandchildren.

Mrs. DeMotta was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Mathias) Gregory. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of her life.

Mrs. DeMotta’s funeral will be at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. on Wednesday with services beginning at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation from 10 –11 A.M. prior to the services.
