Milton J. Morris

New Bedford- Milton Morris age 81 died Saturday September 4, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital after a period of declining health. Milton was the husband of Lucinda (Mello) Morris of Dartmouth, and was the father of JoAnn Carreiro and her husband Kevin of Dartmouth, Cheryl Letendre and her husband Ray of Rochester, Brett Morris and his wife Alison of New Bedford, and the late Curt D. Morris. Grandfather of Jason, Kristin and her husband Chad, Curt B., Cori, and Kyle, and great grandfather of Olivia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.He was the brother of the late Daniel and John Morris

Mr. Morris was the son of the late Mary (Medeiros) and John Morris. He was born in New Bedford and lived in Dartmouth most of his life. He was employed as a machine operator at Goodyear Tire and Rubber for over 30 Years. Mr. Morris loved gardening, quahoging, traveling and spending time with his family. He was an avid Yankees fan. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Morris' funeral is From the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. Wednesday September 8th. A Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at St. Julie Billiart Church, in Dartmouth, MA. at 10 Everyone is invited to meet directly at Church. Visiting Hours will be Tuesday from 5-7 P.M. Relatives and Friends are invited to Attend. Burial will be Private at the request of the Family.
