Beatrice Cunha

Dartmouth - Beatrice Cunha age 92 years, died Saturday, August 28, 2010 peacefully at home. Beatrice was the sister of Eugenia Mathews of New Bedford and the late Raymond Cunha and Evelyn Santos. She was the loving aunt of Janice Kopp of Winchester, MA. and Elaine Meredith of New Bedford. She is also survived by a number of great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Ms. Cunha was the daughter of the late Frederick and Maria Angela (Goulart) Cunha. Beatrice was born in New Bedford and was a long time resident of Dartmouth. She was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber until she retired in 1981. She was a member of the Dartmouth Council on Aging and Goodyear Seniors.

Ms. Cunha’s Funeral will be Wednesday at 7:45 A.M at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, S. Dartmouth, at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday August 31, 2010 from 4 - 7 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited
