Evarista (Correia) Miguel

New Bedford, Evarista Miguel died age 77, died August 18, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital. Mrs. Miguel was the wife of Donald Miguel Sr. of New Bedford. She was the mother of Brian Miguel of Burbank, CA., and Donald Miguel Jr. of New Bedford, MA. Evarista was the grandmother of Gavin James and Audrey Grace Miguel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Survived by 5 sisters, 4 siblings predeceased her.

Mrs. Miguel was the a daughter of the late Mariana Florinda (Baptista) and Manuel Domingos Correia. Evarista was born in Horta, Fayal, Azores, Portugal and she lived in this area since 1957. Mrs. Miguel was employed as a clerk at Goulart Square Bakery until her retirement.

Graveside service will take place at St. John’s Cemetery on Saturday August 21 , 2010 at 10:00 A.M.
