Mary J. Santos

New Bedford- Mary J. (Ragonesi) Santos, 83 of Fairhaven, died Friday, November 21st at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the widow of William E. Santos. She is survived by her 2 sons William A. Santos of Acushnet and Robert J. Santos of Fairhaven, a daughter Joan M. Indio of Mattapoisett, 10 grandchildren: Scott Santos, Robert W. Santos, Deborah Piazza, Christine Clements, Chris Santos, Joselyn Perry, Jack Indio, Jennifer Correia, Staci Santos and Lynn Santos, 13 great grandchildren, a brother John Ragonesi of Somerset and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Santos was born in Fall River, MA, the daughter of Pasquale and Maria Ragonesi and lived in this area most of her life. She had worked as a stitcher at ELCO Factory . Mrs. Santos loved cooking, family gatherings, traveling with her husband and being a homemaker.

The funeral will be Tuesday November 25, 2003 from Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 8:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Church in Fairhaven. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven, MA. Calling hours are Monday November 24th from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
