Irene B. Thibodeau

Dartmouth - Irene B. (Carvalho) Thibodeau , 82 of Dartmouth died Monday, November 17th at home with her family by her side . She was the wife of Armand R. Thibodeau. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Thibodeau of N. Dartmouth, son Armand R. Jr. husband of Elizabeth Thibodeau of N. Dartmouth, grandchildren Armand, Matthew and Sarah Thibodeau of N. Dartmouth, a sister Virginia Carvalho (one of the “Twins”) of New Bedford, a brother Joseph Carvalho of New Bedford and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Georgiana Avila, Maria Sousa, Adeline Griek, Rose Oliveira, Isabel Carvalho (one of the “Twins”), Manuel Carvalho, John Carvalho, and August Carvalho.

Mrs. Thibodeau was born in Dartmouth, the daughter of August Carvalho and Mary (Amaral) Carvalho. She lived in this area all of her life. Mrs. Thibodeau enjoyed bowling at the Wonder Bowl, taking trips to Foxwoods Casino and was an avid Red Sox fan.

The funeral will be Thursday November 20, 2003 from Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9:30 A.M. with a service here at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Dartmouth, Ma. Calling hours are Wednesday November 19th from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
