Manuel P. Goncalves

New Bedford- Manuel P. Goncalves age 65 years died July 22, 2010 at home. Survivors include his sisters and brothers, Maria Costa, Maria Pacheco, and Carlos Alberto Goncalves all of New Bedford, Jose Pereira Silva of Toronto, Canada, and Filomena Pimentel Canada. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Goncalves was the son of the late Maria dosAnjos (Mendes) and Faustino Goncalves. He was born in Matriz, Sao Miguel Azores and lived in New Bedford for the past 31 years. He worked in the landscaping Business.

Mr. Goncalves Funeral will be Saturday at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 7:45 A.M with a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 8:45 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday from 5 to 8 P.M.
