Kathleen E. (Pacheco) Lima

New Bedford – Kathleen (Pacheco) Lima, age 62, died Monday, June 21, 2010 at New Bedford Dialysis Clinic. Kathleen was the wife of David J. Lima of Dartmouth. She was the mother of Linda Boswell, wife of Stephen of New Bedford and David A. Lima, husband of Julie of Flower Mound, Texas. Mrs. Lima was the grandmother of Kaylin Boswell and Joshua, Sarah, Jack and Daniel Lima. She was the sister of Thomas Pacheco, Teresa Knight, Edward Pacheco and the late Stephen and David Pacheco. Mrs. Lima was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lima was a daughter of the late Edward and Kathleen (Quail) Pacheco. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of her life. Kathleen was a graduate of the Greater New Bedford Vocational High School.

Funeral arrangements for Kathleen E. Lima are entrusted to the care of the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Visiting hours with cremains present will be on Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited. Anyone planning to attend the Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Lima should go directly to St. Lawrence Church for 10 A.M. on Wednesday morning. Burial of cremains will follow at Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Holy Family/Holy Name School.
