Pulsena Luz Pacheco

New Bedford-Pulsena Luz Pacheco age 98 years died Thursday June 17th at ST Lukes Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio J. Pacheco. Pulsena was the loving mother of Zelia P. DeMedeiros and her husband Liberil of N. Dartmouth, John J. Pacheco and his wife Berta of New Bedford, Deacon Eduardo M. Pacheco and his wife Rosalinda of New Bedford, and Antonio L. Pacheco and his wife Maria of Westport. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grand and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs Pacheco was the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Da Luz) Jacome. She was born in ST Michael, Azores, and moved here in 1960. Mrs Pacheco was a Cloth Inspector at Paul Modes until her retirement.

Mrs. Pacheco’s Funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. on Monday at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 4-8 P.M.
