Flora P. Tuite

New Bedford – Flora P. Tuite age 87 years died Thursday May 27, 2010 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief illness and with her children by her side. She was the wife of the late Edward Tuite. Flora was the loved mother of Edward J. Tuite and his wife Donna of Gardner, MA., Susan Tuite of New Bedford and Kathy Gomes and her husband Brian of New Bedford. Flora was the sister of the late Antone Cardoza and Cezie Baptiste. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Tuite was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lydia (Coelho) Cardoza. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all her life.

Mrs. Tuite’s funeral services were private, in accordance with her wishes. Arrangements were handled by the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford.
