Alice (Francisco) Laboa

New Bedford –Alice (Francisco) Laboa, age 89, died May 15, 2010 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility. Alice was the beloved wife of the late Manuel Laboa. She was the loved mother of Stephen and his wife Nancy Laboa of New Bedford and Gary and his wife Doreen Laboa of Rochester. Alice was the loving grandmother of Tracie Joseph of Fairhaven, Brandon Laboa of Naples, FL. and Andrew Laboa of Rochester, Shea Laboa and Alisia Laboa of New Bedford. She was the step-grandmother of Michelle Medeiros and Jennifer Demoranville of New Bedford. She was also survived by 8 Great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

Mrs. Laboa was a daughter of the late Maria (Candida) and Antonio Francisco. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

Funeral Services will be Monday May 24th. at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 11 A.M. The family will receive guests beginning at 9:30 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. In accordance with her wishes she was cremated.
