Antone Braga

New Bedford – Antone Braga age 97 years died Tuesday May 11th at St. Luke’s Hospital after a long illness. He was the husband of Mary (Vieira) Braga of Dartmouth. He was the father of Judith Oliver and her husband Raymond of Dartmouth. Antone was the grandfather of Raymond A. Oliver, Daniel Oliver and Crystal Paiva. He had 3 great-grandchildren. Antone was the brother of the late Frank and Lawrence Braga, Mary Medeiros and Louise Frasier. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Braga was the son of the late Theophilo and Marianna (Moura) Braga. He was born in New Bedford and lived in Dartmouth most of his life. Antone was a pasteurizer with Gulf Hill Dairy for 41 years.

Mr. Braga’s arrangements were private. In accordance with his wishes he was cremated. Arrangements were by the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford. MA.
