Manuel Darosa

New Bedford – Manuel Francisco DaRosa, age 49 years, died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at comfortably at home surrounded by family. He was the son of the late Joaquim J. DaRosa and Maria C. (Cabral) and brother of the late Manuel and Joaquim DaRosa. Survivors include 2 Sisters Maria C. Fonseca and her late husband Manuel L., and Maria F. Machado and her husband Eduardo. His nieces and nephews Luis Fonseca, David Fonseca and his Fiance Marianne Donovan, John Fonseca and his wife Julia, Cindy and Scott Machado also survived by a great niece Chloe Fonseca and many aunts and cousins.

Mr. DaRosa was born in Sao Jorge Acores and has lived in this area since 1967. He was employed as a Machine Operator at AFC Cable. His hobbies include Fishing, golfing, traveling , and spending time with his family.
Mr. DaRosa’s Funeral will be Wednesday, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Everyone is invited to meet at Church. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Private.
