Pauline E. (Como) Berthold

Dartmouth –Pauline E. (Como) Berthold, age 91 years, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Berthold. She was the loved mother of Patricia Mottas and her husband Jesse “Joe” Mottas of Dartmouth, Nancy Hornyak and her husband William of Treasure Island, FL. Pauline was the loved grandmother of Kimberly Cordeiro, Michael Mottas and the late Karen Mottas; Great - grandmother of Joshua, Brendan and Nicholas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Berthold was the daughter of the late Napolean and Marjorie (Finnerty) Como. She was born in Chicopee, MA. Pauline was a sales clerk for Cherry & Webb for 22 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Home Guild with Father Hogan. Pauline loved Bingo and St. Petersburg, FL. where she wintered.

In accordance with her wishes she was cremated and private funeral services were held yesterday at St. Julie Billiart Church which she shared with her granddaughter Karen Lynn Mottas who passed on April 5, 2010. They are interred at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
