Alice Jesse

New Bedford - Alice P. Jesse, age 88 died Monday, March 22, 2010 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of the late Elmo Jesse. Mrs. Jesse was the loving mother of Joanne Jesse of E. Freetown and Dianne Mendonca of New Bedford. Grandmother of Amy, Michael, Tara, and Derek. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Jesse was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident.

Mrs. Jesse’s funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. on Thursday at 7:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, New Bedford at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow at St John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5 - 8 P.M.
