Boston-Alzira M. (Pimentel) Cardoso age 54 years died February 28th at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. She was the beloved wife of Jose A. Cardoso of New Bedford. Loved mother of Marcio Cardoso of New Bedford. Alzira was the sister of John Pimentel of New Bedford, Lourdes Pimentel of Richmond, British Columbia and Margarida Garcia of Pico, Açores.

Mrs. Cardoso was the daughter of Abilio E. Pimentel of New Bedford and the late Maria do Carmo (Freitas) Pimentel. Mrs. Cardoso was born in Corvo, Açores and has lived in this area for 36 years. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Cardosos’ Funeral will be Thursday at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 8 A.M with a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery New Bedford MA.
