Beatrice A. (Lawrence) Rose

New Bedford – Beatrice A. (Lawrence) Rose, age 84, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Sacred Heart Home. She was the widow of Alfred Rose. Mrs. Rose was the loved mother of Steven, husband of Sherry Rose of TN. and Dawn, wife of Charles Moniz of New Bedford She was the grandmother of James and Jack Rose and sister of the late Hilda Trudell. Mrs. Rose also leaves behind four nephews and a niece.

Mrs. Rose was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Souza) Lawrence. She was a life long resident of New Bedford and was formerly employed as an assembler at Cornell Dubilier until her retirement.

Mrs. Rose’s funeral will be Thursday at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 10 A.M. Services will commence at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 5 – 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
