New Bedford – Clara Guzman age 69 years died December 29th at St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of Angel Mojica. Clara was the beloved mother of Angie Mojica and Loida Mojica both of New Bedford. She was the grandmother of the late Loidangely Febres and is also survived by 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. Clara has 2 sisters; she was predeceased by her brother. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Guzman was the daughter of the Angel and Dolores Guzman. She was born in San Juan Puerto Rico and has lived in this area for 12 years. Mrs. Guzman was a minister with the Christian Mission Hebrews 11 by Faith Church at 267 Potter St. New Bedford.
Mrs. Guzman’s funeral services will be Monday January 4th at the Christian Mission Hebrews 11 by Faith on Potter St. at 9 A.M. Services will start at 10 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visitation will take place Sunday starting at 2 P.M. at the Church. Arrangements entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St.
Floral arrangements will be accepted and should be delivered to the Church by noon on Sunday.
