Victor Calheta

New Bedford- Victor Calheta age 39 years died December 26, 2009 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the son of late Alfred Calheta and Hilda (Medeiros) Calheta of New Bedford. Victor was the brother of Nancy, Diane and the late Sherri Lynn Calheta. Victor was the uncle of Tommy Ortiz, Dasian Ortiz, Jarrid Fernandes and Corin Mello.

Mr. Calheta was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of his life.

Mr. Calhetas’ Funeral will be Thursday at 8 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St., with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5-8 P.M.
