Maria (Lamerinhas) Moniz

Dartmouth-Maria (Lamerinhas) Moniz age 97 died November 18th at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. Maria was the wife of the late Henrique Rapoza Moniz. Mrs. Moniz was the mother of Emmanuel G. Moniz of Somerset, Jose H. Moniz of Acushnet, Gabriela Barboza of N. Dartmouth and Joseph Afonso Sobral of Easton, MA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Moniz was the daughter of the late Armando and Maria (Gastalho) Lamerinhas. She was born in Portugal and lived in this area since 1966. Maria was employed as a stitcher at Belmont MFG until her retirement

Mrs. Moniz’s Funeral will be Saturday from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 7 :45 A.M. with a Services at Pentecostal Assembly Church 215 Sawyer St. at 9 A.M. Visiting Hours will be Friday from 5-8 P.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.
