Maria Laudaline (Furtado) Cosme

New Bedford- Maria Laudaline (Furtado) Cosme age 67 died Thursday August 6, 2009 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Maria was the wife Donald M. Cosme Sr. of Dartmouth, mother of Ruby Chece of Lincoln, RI, Sueann Costa of Somerset, MA, and Donald Cosme Jr of Somerset, MA. and Jessielynn Borque of New Bedford, MA. Mrs. Cosme was the grandmother of Nichalos, Dustin, Spencer, Eric, Evan, Kimber Starr and Karlie. She was the sister of Bennie Furtado of Fairhaven, MA., and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Cosme was the daughter of the late Rosemary (Morgado) and Alfred Furtado. She was born in St. Miguel, Açores Portugal and lived in this area since 1961.

Mrs. Cosme’s Funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. on Monday at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 5-8 P.M.
