Edward "Junior" Travers Jr.

New Bedford-Edward “Junior” Travers Jr. years died July 30, 2009 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Edward B. and Theresa (Duarte) Travers. He was the brother of Shirley Allard of Leominster, MA., Brenda Wright of Payson AZ., Robert Travers of South Dartmouth and Errol Travers of Port Charlotte, FL. He is survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was born in New Bedford and has lived in this area all his life. Junior worked at the opportunity Center in the maintenance Department. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church,

Mr. Travers Funeral will be Monday at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 8 A.M with a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at St John Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday from 5 to 8 P.M.
