Jose N. Rosa

New Bedford-Jose N. Rosa age 62 years died July 19th. Jose was the husband of Maria R. (Jorge) Rosa of New Bedford. He was the father of Norbert Rosa of New Bedford. Mr. Rosa was the brother of Maria C. Ventura of S. Dartmouth and Maria F. Rosario of New Bedford. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren Kelsey Rosa and Ashley M. Turner and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Rosa was the son of Balbino (Garcia) Rosa of S. Datmouth and the late Jose Silveira Rosa. He was born in Horta, Faial, Açores and has lived in New Bedford since 1971. He was a Commercial fisherman.

Mr. Rosa’s Funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. on Friday at 9:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30A.M. Burial will follow at St. Johns Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 5-8 P.M.
