Joyce (Martin) Silveira

New Bedford- Joyce (Martin) Silveira age 67 died Friday July 3, 2009 at St. Luke's Hospital a brief illness. Joyce was the wife of the late Manuel I. Silveira. She was the mother of Donna wife of Paul Baptiste and Sharon wife of Ray Dutton both of Dartmouth. Mrs. Silveira was the grandmother of Nicole and Brittany Dutton, Tabitha and Nicholas Baptiste. She was the sister of the late Arthur Roderick. She is also survived by 2 nieces

Mrs. Silveira was the daughter of the late Hilda (Sylvia) and Antone F. Martin. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area most of her life. Joyce was employed as a manager in the shoe dept at Wal Mart and a people greeter there also.

Mrs. Silveira’ funeral is From the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. Tuesday July 7th at 8:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at St. Julie Billiart Church, in Dartmouth, MA. at 10 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery . Visiting Hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
