Rosemary Braga

New Bedford - Rosemary Braga, age 52 years, died peacefully, Thursday, June 18, 2009 at her home. She was the wife of John C. Braga of New Bedford. Loved mother of Derek Braga and Kelly Silva, wife of Gabriel all of New Bedford and Kristie Ribeiro, wife of Jason of Acushnet. Rosemary was the sister of Evelyn McCracken of CA., Frank Oliveira, David Oliveira and Deborah Booker all of New Bedford. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Braga was a daughter of the late Frank and Izaura (Morris) Oliveira. She was a life long resident of New Bedford. Mrs. Braga was the director at Active Day.

Mrs. Braga’s Funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. on Monday at 8:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 5-8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
