Theresa B. (Fagundes) Woodis

Theresa B. “Fagundes” Woodis of New Bedford age 60 years died Tuseday, April 21st from complications with meningitis.

Born in New Bedford the daughter of the late Manny and Mary Fagundes. Theresa was the sister of the late Antone Fagundes. She lived in New Bedford all of her life. Theresa graduated from New Bedford High School and was employed at Brittany Dye & Acushnet Company for many years. Theresa enjoyed singing, dancing and bingo. She took great pride in her many talents, cooking, poems and more. Theresa has made an impact in her loved one’s lives and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include a daughter Wendy L. Woodis, a son Wallace G. and his wife Elizabeth L. Woodis and daughter Angela M. and her husband Jose "Lucio" Fernandes. Three brothers Manny, Bernardo and Joseph Fagundes. Six grandsons Allan, Maximilliom “Max”, Terezinho J. “TJ” Woodis, Tyrell Woodis-Pina, Anthony Woodis and Aiden L. Woodis who was born on April 21, 2009 one granddaughter Tyanna Fernandes. Her only great-grandson Camryn J. Woodis and several nieces and nephews

In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated. Visiting hours will be at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St, Friday May 1st from 5-8 P.M. A Mass of Chrisitian Burial with ashes present will be celebrated at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish on Saturday at 9 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the church.
