Adela L. Mitchell

Boston-Adela L. Mitchell age 60 years died Sunday April 19th at St. Elizabeth Medical Center unexpectedly. She was the beloved wife of Charles E. Mitchell of Fairhaven. Loved mother of Matthew C. Mitchell and Lisa Turgeon both of New Bedford. Loved grandmother of Adam Paul Turgeon who she has raised as her own son since he was 4 years old.

Mrs. Mitchell was the daughter of Mary (De Moura) Martin of New Bedford and the late Arthur Chris Martin. Adela was a CNA. until her illness. She enjoyed cooking, and took great pride in her “Boys” Matthew C. and Adam Paul.

In accordance with her wishes she was cremated. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date
