Albertino O. Poucochinho

New Bedford-Albertino O. Poucochinho age 85 years died Wednesday at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of Ana (Goncalves) Poucochinho. Father of Ana P. Shuman wife of Zach of New Bedford, Pedro Poucochinho of Lisbon Portugal, and Luis Antonio Poucochinho and his wife Judite of Algarve, Portugal . Grandfather to Luis Andre, Tucha, Ana Raquel, and Samuel. He also has a great-grandson Miguel. He is also survived by Jamie Carvalho and Humberto da Conceicao as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and brother and sister in laws.

Mr. Poucochinho was the son of Antonio and Julia dosSantos (Sagreiro) Poucochinho. He was born in Lagos, Algarve, Portugal and has lived in this area since 1980. He was a butcher by trade and his passion was writing. His writing also appeared in the O Jornal and the Portuguese Times and published his own book called Fragmentos.

Mr. Poucochinho’s Jehovah Witness services will be during visiting hours on Sunday from 12-3 P.M. Arrangements by Perry Funeral Home.

In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated.
