Antone Fagundes

New Bedford–Antone V. Fagundes died Wednesday, February 18th at St. Luke's Hospital. Antone was the loved father of Antone “TJ” Fagundes Jr. of Brockton, MA. He was beloved grandfather of Alex Fagundes. He was the brother of Bernardo Fagundes, Joseph Fagundes and Theresa Woodis all of New Bedford and Manuel A. Fagundes of FL. Tony was the former husband of Donna Gwynn. He was the Step-father of Mallory and Justin Gwynn. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Fagundes was the son of the late Manuel and Mary (Correira) Fagundes. He was born in Acushnet and lived in this area all his life. Tony was a laborer working at a construction company. enjoyed fishing, he was an avid sports fan, cooking and enjoyed DJ gigs with Gene Daniels DJ Service.

Mr. Fagundes will have a Mass of Christian Burial with Cremains present to be celebrated at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish on Saturday March 7th at 9 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at church. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.
