Stephen W. Laferriere

New Bedford, MA – Stephen W. Laferriere, age 48 years, died Jan. 13, 2009. He was a son of Andre ”Andy” Laferriere of New Bedford and Mildred “Milly” (Jones) Laferriere of New Bedford, brother of Laurie Bettencourt, Donna Gomes and Cindy Laferriere all of New Bedford. He was the father of Jennie Laferriere and Stephen A. Laferriere both of New Bedford, and Katie Laferriere of CA. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, a niece and several nephews.

Mr. Laferriere was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of his life. He formerly worked as a laborer for Global Movers.

In accordance with his wishes he was cremated. Arrangements are by the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Memorial services for Mr. Laferriere will be held on Friday, February 13, 2009 from 1 – 2 P.M. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited.
