Evelyn (Cabral) Sousa

Fairhaven-Evelyn C. Sousa age 84 died Monday at the Royal of Fairhaven. She was the beloved wife of Manuel Sousa of New Bedford. Loved mother of Cecilia Kosta wife of Timothy of New Bedford and Maria Vitagliano wife of Richard of East Falmouth. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren; Sarah Correia, Katherine Kosta, Timothy Vitagliano, Nicholas Kosta, Andrew Vitagliano and Jonathan Kosta.

Mrs. Sousa was the daughter of the late Frank and Francelina (Couto) Cabral She was born in New Bedford and was a life long resident. She was employed by the State of Massachusetts Department of Rehabilitation for about 30 years.

Mrs. Sousa’s Funeral will be Friday at 8 A.M. at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St., with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4-7 P.M.
