Graciela (Armas) Macedo

Dartmouth-Graciela (Armas) Macedo died Saturday January 17th at The Cedars Assisted Living. She was the Beloved widow of Nicodemos Macedo. She was the sister of Renato Armas of New York, Antonio Armas of Stoughton, MA. and the late Americo Armas, Venecio Armas, Leonor Sousa, Anuelda Canha.

She was the daughter of the late Francisco and Laura Armas. She was born in Flores, Açores and lived in this area most of her life. She worked at Sacred Heart Home as a Nurse’s Aid until her retirement. She was a member of St. John’s and Mt. Carmel’s Booster Club.

Mrs. Macedo’s funeral will be from Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. Thursday at 9 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St John the Baptist Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4-7 P.M.
