Evelyn (Vieira) Eugenio

Wolfeboro, NH; Evelyn Eugenio, 90, formerly of New Bedford, MA, died Thursday, Dec 11, 2008 at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation in Wolfeboro.
She was born Oct 10, 1918, in New Bedford, to Manuel and Maria Vieira Sr. Evelyn was the proprietor of Evelyn’s Beauty Salon and retired from St Luke’s Hospital as a nurse’s aide.
Evelyn was the beloved widow of the late Arthur Eugenio. She was predeceased by her brother, Manuel Vieira Jr, her sister, Cecelia Medeiros and granddaughter, Kristin Ash.
Her family members include her loving daughter Nancy Landgraf and her husband Kenneth of Ossipee, NH, grandson, Curtis Sylvia and five great grandchildren, Eric and Kaitlin Sylvia of Lee, NH, Alexander and twins Jason and Jeremy Ash of Ossipee. Her sister Dorothy Furtado of So. Dartmouth, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visiting hours at Perry Funeral Home in New Bedford, MA will be held on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral will be Monday at 8 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St John the Baptist Church Monday at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery.
