Florence (Fatsy) Champagne

Dartmouth-Florica Champagne aged 84 years, died December 2nd at Sunrise Assisted Living of Dartmouth. She was the widow of Lucien Champagne. Florida was the loving mother of Mary Ann wife of Anthony Consenting of Brooklyn, NY. Sandra wife of Robert Fontaine of Tiverton, RI. and Peter M. Champagne of Alexandria, VA. She was the loved grandmother of John Cosentino, Tara Cosentino both of Brooklyn, NY., Tanya Yake of O’Fallon, MO. and Anthony Cosentino of Putnam, CT. great-grandmother of Peyton Yake, and Addison Yake, both of O’Fallon MO. and Anthony Cosentino of Putnam, CT. She was the sister of Christine Consoletti and the late Christ E. Fatsy, Peter Fatsy, Esther Custer, Mary Tessicini, Rita Tuchapsky.

Mrs. Champagne was the daughter of the late Vageli and Maria (Couchi) Fatsy . She was born in Blackstone,MA. Mrs. Champagne was the Head Chef for the Burrillville School Department for twenty-five years,then she retired.

In accordance with her wishes she was cremated.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Martyr’s Church 1409 Park Ave. Woonsocket, RI. on Saturday December 6th at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
