Rosa "Tita" (Pereira) Novo

New Bedford - Rosa “Tita” (Pereira) Novo, aged 66 years, died November 15, 2008 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Joaquim “Prancha” Novo of N. Dartmouth.
Mrs. Novo was the loved mother of Tony, husband of Dorene Novo of N. Dartmouth and Rui Novo of New Bedford. She was the grandmother of Ryan, Jessica and Tevin Novo and was the sister of Antonio Pereira of Portugal. She is also survived by two nieces.

Mrs. Novo was the daughter of the late Antonio “Paladina” Pereira and Laura (Batista) Pereira. She was born in Figueira da Foz, Portugal and lived in the New Bedford area since 1980.

Mrs. Novo’s Funeral is from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. on Wednesday at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial is at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 6 - 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
