Olivia Sabino

South Dartmouth – Olivia (Tavares) Sabino died Saturday October 25, 2008, at Taber St. Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Frank M. Sabino. Survivors include a daughter Gloria Aspden and her husband Donald of S. Dartmouth, and a son George Sabino and his wife Deborah of Naperville Il., 4 grandchildren Monica Maranhas, Matthew Sabino, Mark Sabino, John Sabino, and 2 great grandchildren Benjamin and Parker Maranhas, 1 sister Gloria Tavares of New Bedford and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Maria Torres.

Mrs Sabino was the daughter of the late Maria (Pacheco) and Francisco Tavares. She was born in New Bedford lived in Portugal for a period and returned in her 20’s She worked in the Ladies Garment Industry.

Mrs Sabino’s Funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Tuesday at 10:15 A.M. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 A.M. at St. Mary’s Church, South Dartmouth, MA. Visiting hours will be Monday from 5 -8 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited.
