Steven Pereira

New Bedford –Steven Pereira, age 41, died Sunday, September 28, 2008, at home. He was the former husband of Kelly Pereira of Dartmouth. He was the father of Nicole Pereira of Dartmouth, and Kristian Pereira of New Bedford. His partner and companion Stacey Pollitt of New Bedford. Mr. Pereira was the brother of Cindy Bourgeois of Dartmouth. He was also survived by a maternal grandmother Mary Misiolek of Dartmouth and by 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Mr. Pereira was the son of the George Pereira husband of Audrey of New Bedford and Paula (Adriana) Pereira of Dartmouth. He was born in New Bedford, and lived in this area all of his life. He was employed as a machinist at a surgical instrument factory.

Mr. Pereira’s Funeral Service will be at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St., on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow at Acushnet Cemetery. Visiting hours are from 5 - 8 P.M. on Wednesday evening. Relatives and friends are invited.
