Manuel R. Rose Jr.

New Bedford- Manuel R. Rose Jr. age 86 years died Friday August 22, 2008 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth after a long illness. He was the loving husband of the Lillian M. (Mendes) Rose of New Bedford. Father of Arthur S. Rose and his wife Christine of Westport. Grandfather of Kevin Rose of New Bedford, and Stacy Rose of Canton. Great Grandfather of Austin Rose of Canton. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Rose was the son of the late Gertrude (Roza) and Manuel R. Rose. He was born in South Dartmouth and lived in this area all his life. He was an Army Veteran of WWll. Mr. Rose enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Rose’s Funeral Services will be at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. Monday at 11:00A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery Visiting will be Sunday from 4-7 P.M.
