Gertrude W. Muraco

New Bedford – Gertrude W. ( Waldron) Muraco age 90 years died Thursday August 7, 2008 at Sippican Healthcare. She was the wife of Samuel Muraco. Mrs. Muraco was the mother of Joseph E. husband of the late Nancy Muraco of New Bedford, She was the grandmother of Pamela Simons, James Muraco, Amy Dallaire, Michael and Shawn Muraco. She was the great-grandmother of Alexandra and Kayla Simons, Jack and Emily Muraco, Sara, Maggie and Lyndsay Dallaire. Mrs. Muraco was the mother of the late John Muraco and sister of the late Anna, James and Edmund Waldron. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Muraco was the daughter of the late Anna (Malone) James E. Waldron . She was born in New Bedford, and formerly of New Bedford. Lived in this area most of her life as well as some time in CT. She was employed as cashier at Star Store.

A Mass of Christian Burial with ashes present will take place at St Lawrence Church and burial of her ashes will take place at a later Date
