Jeannette (Talbot) Barao

New Bedford – Jeannette (Talbot) Barao age 73 died Saturday June 28, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long Illness. She was the wife of the late Raymond Frank Barao. Survivors include her Children Nancy A. Areano of North Dartmouth and her companion Tom Frezza, Phyllis Farias and her husband Dwayne of New Bedford, Dennis Rego and his wife Debbie of Key West Florida, Raymond F. Barao Jr. and his wife Cynthia M. of Acushnet, and Gary R. Barao and his wife Susan of Acushnet. Sister Barbara DeTerra of Rochester . Mrs. Barao is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews. She was the sister of the late Leo Talbot Jr.

Mrs. Barao was the daughter of the late Edna (Kubel) and Leo Talbot Sr.. She was born in Acushnet and lived in this area all her life. Mrs. Barao loved to cook and take care of children. She also loved her dog Kiaser.

Mrs. Barao’s funeral will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. followed by a Religious Service at 11:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M
