Kazimierz P. "Charlie" Wojtkunski

New Bedford- Kazimierz P. "Charlie" Wojtkunski age 89 died Friday May 23rd at St. Luke’s Hospital unexpectedly. He was the husband of Joanna (Kocur) Wojtkunski of New Bedford. He was the father of Patricia Sharples of New Bedford. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Wojtkunski was the son of the late John and Jadwiga (Radziewicz) Wojtkunski. He was born in New Bedford and he lived in this area most of his life. He was employed as a Park Policeman for the City of New Bedford. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the Polish American War Veterans.

Mr. Wojtkunski’s funeral will be Wednesday May 28, 2008, from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church, at 10 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4 - 7 P.M. Relatives and Friends are invited.
