Sheila Demello

New Bedford-Sheila (Perry) DeMello aged 70 years passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late Lionel J. DeMello who died July 19, 2001. She was the mother of Russell S. Hallett and his wife Allison of Berkley, Randall J. Hallett and his wife Robin of New Bedford and Doreen Hill and her husband Mark of Fairhaven. She is also survived by 9 grand, 2 great-grandchildren. Mark Swain, Steve Viera and Robert Macedo who were like sons to her.

Mrs. DeMello was the daughter of the late John and Hilda (Fontes) Perry. She was a life long resident of this area.

Mrs. DeMello will have visiting hours on Tuesday May 6th from 10 A.M. till noon at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St., with a religious service to take place with ashes present at that time.
