Felix Maisonet of New Bedford died on April 29 at Forest View Nursing Home of Wareham after a long illness. He was the husband of the late Elena (Vasquez) Masionet.

Born in Manati, Puerto Rico on Nov. 8, 1925. The son of the late Emmeterio and the late Alejandrina (Perez) Maisonet. He left Puerto Rico for New York City in 1946. He married his childhood sweetheart in 1947 and in 1948 their only child was born. They moved to New Bedford in 1982 to be close to their daughter.

Survivors include his daughter Lillian Caban of New Bedford and her husband Aurelio Caban. Three Grand Children Aurelio Caban Jr., husband of Beatriz, Enid wife of Elvin Ramos and Jo-Ann Caban. Five Great Grand Children Felix and Christian Caban, Richard Robinett II, Jasmine Ramos, and Elvin Ramos Jr. all of New Bedford Two sisters Luz Maria Maisonet and Iris Maisonet and many nieces and nephews all from New York City

In accordance with his wishes his arrangements were private.
